Through this beautiful covered corridor of woods on an old route from San Xulián do Camino to Ponte Campaña.

Historical note: Ponte Campaña was the setting for a bloody battle in 1370, fought between Fernán Ruiz de Castro (on behalf of King Pedro I of Castile – aka “Peter the Cruel”) and defeated by Pedro’s half-brother Enrique II.
