… and ONLY one table for two! Perhaps the restauranteur wants folks to know there IS a restaurant on the block, in which case, the bold colors definitely draw people to it! The kicker about dinnertime in St Jean Pied de Port (as well as those in Spain for that matter), is that restaurants close down at about 2 or 3 and don’t open up again until 8!! L o n g siesta hours!! Hence, we continued to stroll along the quaint streets.
