Goings on in Logroño, Spain

Laundry day, street scenes, city and park scapes, and… Alice Cooper.

The lovely gardens of the Paseo del Espolón lie in the city’s Old Town. Dating back to the 19th century, the huge park is set amongst many flower beds surrounded by green trees and roses bushes over walkways and plenty of seating to relax in. The center features a fountain and the statue of General Espartero, who lived in Logroño until his death in 1879. At another end is an open stage where concerts are often held.

Doing the laundry was a must after over a week of hiking on El Camino de Santiago!

Could pack a full day’s meal from this selection!
